At Kimpton, We're Part of the LGBT Community
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has supported the LGBT community for thirty years. Based in San Francisco, we were one of the first hotel brands to develop outreach programs for the LGBT community and the very first brand to score 100% on the HRC Corporate Equality index. Our hotels are pet-friendly and tend to be perfectly located in urban cores of important gay-friendly destinations. Put simply - we feel our hotels are unique like you. We treat our guests like extended family, and work to ensure that all guests have memorable stays.
MyGayGetaway proclaims, "Kimpton's contribution and outreach to the LGBT audience is to be applauded!"
At Kimpton, we believe one of our greatest strengths is our diverse workplace. Each Kimpton employee is valued for their talents and contributions, and never judged on gender, race or sexual orientation. Since our founding in San Francisco more than 30 years ago, we have embraced the LGBT community as an important part of that diversity. And we've made a commitment to positive change by identifying organizations that can make a difference.
The Trevor Project is a perfect example and embodies the type of results-oriented group we like to align ourselves with. The nation's largest organization serving as a crisis and suicide prevention lifeline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning young people, The Trevor Project provides an invaluable service by offering 24/7 counseling and other services to at-risk LGBT youth.
As The Trevor Project's Premier National Hotel Partner, as well as the Presenting Sponsor of its Ambassador Program, we are involved on the local and national levels, donating room nights, meeting space and catering. Our partnership is employee-driven, and Kimpton employees are involved in local outreach on behalf of the Trevor Project through the “Kimpton Presents: Trevor Ambassador Program.” The program helps foster awareness of the issues facing LGBT youth and the availability of life-saving resources available through The Trevor Project. Supporting a safe and judgment-free place for young people to go is just another way Kimpton cares for our community.
South Beach’s Hidden Gem!
Suites, two-story duplexes and villas meet rooftop terraces and a plunge-worthy pool at Kimpton Angler’s Hotel in South Beach. Located one block from Ocean Drive, our 45 spacious rooms and suites are larger than average on South Beach. Paired with upscale amenities like wet bars, balconies, and private Jacuzzis, it’s your sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of South Beach. When you’re ready to explore the nearby restaurants and boutiques, our concierge shares the latest and greatest.
With bamboo floors, white marble bathrooms, and wet bars, each of the 45 hotel rooms and suites gives you a true boutique experience. What do you fancy? A balcony? Pool views? A private Jacuzzi? The choice is yours. No matter what, each South Beach room suite offers at least 455 square feet and all the upscale amenities (Egyptian cotton linens, anyone?) you’d expect.
From sunrise to sunset, get your Michael Phelps on and swim laps in the Kimpton Angler's refreshing pool, or take it a little easier (even Olympians need breaks) by lounging in a shaded cabana, sipping on flavored water, soaking up the Florida sun among palm trees, or availing yourself of the poolside food and beverage service.
Be our guest in Kimpton Angler's private dining room, where up to 40 people will be treated to our signature service and the American-inspired cuisine of South Beach's 660, known for good eats like fried chicken tacos, house-made empanadas, fresh seafood, and hand-cut steaks and pork chops.
