Part of a beautifully converted group of Old Town inns
The Key Lime is a 37-room historic guesthouse just two blocks from Duval Street. This former estate property is now one of six of the Historic Key West Inns group in Old Town.
It looks cute, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is just enough to see you through to lunch, the rooms clean and spacious, the parking FREE and the location just 5 minutes walk from the gay bars on Duval Street... What more could you want! I loved this place and would recommend ANYONE to stay here. We had a cabin (21) on Coconut Row which was just perfect. The pool was a nice size. No bar to buy alcohol from, but the room had a good sized fridge and the CVS up the road was close enough to carry a bag full of bud & coke without being a pain. Loved it! -londonlad
Stayed here for 2 nights and loved the location! We were able to walk everywhere. The people were so friendly as well. I do wish my room had a small refrigerator. I know some of the rooms have them however mine did not. So if you would like one you should request. Pool area was a nice place to hang! GinnyGene
Comfortable, good location
A really good boutique spot for any age range in a great location handy for Duval etc. You have a nice pool around which you can chill and take a drink (byo of course). The rooms are all set around a quiet compound with the pool area off to one side. We'd certainly come again.
If I had to say one word of caution, if you're a light sleeper then the older model aircon we had might not be good for you since it was a tad loud. Otherwise it should certainly be on your list of must-consider places when in the Keys. -Mark0381, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Key lime is a great place to stay.
Key Lime Inn is a laid back place within walking distance to a busy area. The best part about Key Lime Inn was the location. The first day we walked around and the second day we rented bikes. The island is beautiful and great to explore while on bikes. The rooms were great and the beds were comfy. We love breakfast food but we skipped the hustle of a restaurant and enjoyed the included breakfast each morning outside of our room. I would stay at Key Lime Inn again. -CharityPinckard
Cool little hotel in the middle of all the activities
We made a quick trip down to Key West while we were visiting family in Ft. Lauderdale. There are a ton of hotels down there and we were worried about choosing a good one. The Key Lime inn was perfect!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They allowed us an early check in and helped us find our way around town pointing out cool things to do on the map.
The hotel was very clean and quaint - reminded me of something in the BVI or Belize. There was a pool, good breakfast spread and had parking on site. (you do have to pay, but much easier than trying to find a place on the street)
We walked to Duval street and wandered around seeing the sites and people watching. Later we rented bikes (much better) and watch the sunset, went to dinner, had key lime pie and then found a fun bar. -Dave S, Bend, Oregon
Just what we were looking for...
Perfect historic Key West feel. Celebrating our 40th anniversary, we stayed in Deluxe King #26, and were welcomed with a bottle of champagne on ice! I think it was less than 20 steps to the breakfast bar and pool. Breakfast was just enough to get our day started. Pool was sparkling...and visited a couple times by the resident lizard! Pretty landscaped grounds with mulched paths. Clean and quiet, but just a short 2 blocks from all the fun of Duval Street. Phyllis, at the front desk, is a great ambassador for both this hotel and Key West in general! Thank you Key Lime Inn for some great memories...we would love to go back! -Kim S
