Location: there is no better area to stay in SP. There are a large number of excellent restaurants within a few minutes' walk, of many different types. Just walking the nearby streets is a joy; the festive atmosphere is quite enticing. Great shopping, including an amazing and vast art gallery selling a wide variety of local art. There is a very fine grocery store one block away, and several others nearby.
Service: the best of any hotel I have stayed at. The staff will always greet you, politely and in a nice low-key manner. I am not that messy when I am in a hotel, but housekeeping will appropriately organize your stuff, twice a day.
Rooms: I stayed in a suite. It was gigantic. The furniture and decor were tasteful and clearly well thought-out. Bathroom: huge. The entire hotel is completely and immaculately clean.
Food: I did not try their famous restaurant. The breakfast selection is slightly on the limited side, but unless you are staying for a long time, that is irrelevant. What they do offer is of uniformly superior quality.
Lobby: loved the way it is set up. Instead of walking into a space filled with people checking in or out, the lobby is large, discreetly lit and relaxing, filled with luxurious tables and chairs. Reception is behind the lobby in a separate space.
This hotel is a destination in and of itself. If you go to SP, you owe it to yourself to stay here. -A2549VQjames, New York City, New York
Best hotel bar in São Paulo
This is a review about the Bar at Hotel Fasano. I have already stayed at the hotel, but I would like to focus on the bar in this review because there are few reviews about it around. The Bar is cosy and the leather chairs are comfortable and inviting. The alcohol list is expensive, but good. The waiter is attentive. In addition to the espresso from the machine at the Bar, the waiter will be pleased to bring you American filtered coffee from Nonno Ruggero, the restaurant upstairs. Given the space between places, you can have a proper discussion about any matter without fear that it will be heard by anyone else, privacy is the word of order at this bar and what attracts me most - I have meetings there with business associates and work colleagues every week. -Geraldo L, State of Sao Paulo
Very swank, classy hotel
We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great visit. The hotel has a 30s men’s club kind of glamour to it. It’s located in the Jardin district and the main shopping street is only a few blocks away. They upgraded us to a suite on the 17th floor, it only had 2 rooms on the entire floor which made it feel exclusive and cool. The room itself was huge with expansive views of São Paulo. The room, bed and bathroom were outfitted with luxurious bedding, towels and amenities. It was a great buffet spread and you could also order off the menu. The gym was on the top floor, it’s small but very well equipped and also had a fridge full of Gatorade, coconut water and water. The pool is indoors and small but very well designed. -ggstyled, Los Angeles, California
