Belmond Copacabana Palace- again
The style, service, facilities, Restaurants & Food, bars- and pool area- spa etc, must be experienced to understand the high standar of this hotel- and of course the overall service from all levels. Ever visiting Rio- the BELMOND Copacabana Palace IS A MUST PLACE TO STAY! -annikaOslo, Oslo
I can see why this hotel is discussed around the world as it is has a superb location; great facilities and very good service. Two highlights were the fusion restaurant Mee with a wonderful waiter, Marcos and the beach enclave which means you can really take in the famous Copacabana beach safely.! A minor equipment issue overnight was immediately dealt with (with an upgrade). We shall return. -Mal1960
Grand dame of Rio
Lovely hotel on the beach at Rio with great views of the sea. Had a lovely room overlooking the pool with a separate sitting room and large balcony where you could enjoy breakfast in the morning. Very traditional hotel and not your modern glass palace that seems to be everywhere now, but still has the modern touches to bring it up to date. Staff very helpful and are good for advise on travelling around the city safely. Food at the pool restaurant was good with a large choice depending on your wants. Massive beach across the busy road with staff to lay out your beds and brollys and look after you. Locals who set up their stalls on the beach every day, look after you for any food or drinks you might require at very reasonable prices. Best hotel in Rio by a fair bit I think and worth a visit. -Blackfish365, Brussels, Belgium
A must in a lifetime!
The old traditional hotel is a must, there are only a few Grand Hotels of this style left in the world. And surprisingly enough, all the staff is so friendly and helpful, unbelievable. We loved to stay there for three days waiting for our cruise around southamerica. A wonderful place, the concierge - lost the name sorry - and Cesar and all the others great! Just one idea: The nice and friendly guys at the breakfast-buffet should learn some english words, would be very helpful. But enjoy! -mundmmuc2016, Munich, Germany
On the Beach at One of the World's Most Glamorous Places
When we travel, we sometimes splurge a little. We're glad we did at this property, because our days and nights at this stellar destination were incomparable. This was our first trip to Brazil so we reserved a suite with a beach view. The spacious living area had flowers, fruit, and chocolates. We made good use of the property: restaurants, spa, library, and concierge services. The staff was super friendly as were the guests representing a wide range of countries. The concierge Robert provided us with a knowledgeable guide and driver and even saw us to our car the day we departed. The customer services manager is as sweet as they come. -robertomN124LH, New York City, New York
Fabulous Rio Hotel
Stayed in this magnificent hotel recently and can't say enough great things about it- spacious rooms tastefully decorated, beautiful pool area where they even provide you with sunscreen. Sun loungers with cushions, attentive staff
Best of all however was the service of Fabio, a driver with the hotel who gave us a four hour tour of Rio. Fabio was courteous, pleasant, had perfect English and educated us on the many facets of amazing Rio. Truly a trip to remember- well done Copacabana Palace Hotel. -Piscesann

Gorgeous Hotel and perfect location
WeI stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a tour through South America with Tauck. This hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are large, very comfortable and quiet. Service was perfect. And the location is just across the street from Copacabana beach. Hard to ask for more. -niagarariverfatman, Buffalo, NY
A very lovely hotel
This is a lovely place to stay. I chose it because the conference I attended was held here. My “standard” room was terrific. Very quiet. It didn’t have an Ocean view but then I think the rooms with such a view may suffer from traffic noise (there is a highway between the hotel and the beach). Anyway, I was perfectly happy for five days and would recommend a room like mine (320) unreservedly! The staff are, without exception, delightful. I’m trying to plan a return trip....Stay here! Take my word for it! -Paul T, Chalfont St. Giles, United Kingdom
