I love the minimalistic design. You get almost everything here you may expect from a decent hotel and some surprises also. Staff and service is very casual. Not everybody's thing probably. I liked it. -
“Parking was super simple, checking in was easy to do. The rooms were spacious. We ate dinner at the King's Highway, the on-site restaurant, and all had delicious food. Jacuzzi is extra large, can fit tons of people, which was appreciated since it didn't mean we awkwardly waited until some people left. Drinks at pool bar were DELICIOUS!” -Mary-cate, United States of America
“The pool was so nice and the perfect temperature. It was a really relaxing vibe in the pool area with large comfortable day beds and pool food & drink service. The restaurant King's Highway was delicious and the bar was so much fun! We went to karaoke on Tuesday night and it was great! We had a room with an enclosed patio & fireplace which I definitely reccommend.” -Andrea, Canada
“They upgraded our room for free when we couldn't check in as early as we wanted, but they did get us to check in 2 hours earlier than we were told on booking.com so we had time to get ready for the wedding! Super friendly staff. Pool stays open late! There is a free mellow yoga class on Sunday morning on the star deck!!” -Nicole, United States of America
Ace Hotel & Swim Club is an oasis in the desert. Built on the foundation of a 1965 Howard Johnson hotel, it remarries style with substance, focusing on elegance and luxury with a low-key, relaxed vibe. Guests can dine at King's Highway — a fresh, reimagined roadside diner by the folks from Brooklyn's Five Leaves — grab some tacos by the pool or sip on a smoothie from the Short Bus. The menus at our eating and drinking spots focus on fresh ingredients, bold desert flavor and all of the influences of old world California. Sunbathe and stargaze by our two big pools, or soak in the warm botanicals of Feel Good Spa. We feature a vintage photobooth, award-winning room service and a well-equipped gym. Bring your kids, bring your dog— we're family and pet-friendly. Every room comes equipped with robes for lounging, vintage modern furniture and a walking stick for hikes in the mighty San Jacintos. Some rooms have a garden patio and some have a fireplace. Some have record players and old vinyl you can play in your room and take home with you. There's fragrant shampoo from Rudy's Barbershop, and minibars with addictive caramel popcorn. The design is organic bohemian, with vintage mid-century furniture throughout and a giant rope sculpture in the lobby. We collaborate with friends to curate music for the lobby and poolside, and on weekends there's a DJ scene at the pool. Almost every night there's something going on at the Amigo Room — live music, DJs, bingo, karaoke and the occasional special event. We have been called a boutique hotel, and we're not sure what that means. We only know what feels good and what looks good and what this place means to us.
We found a neglected treasure — a mid-century desert modern former Westward Ho with a Denny’s — dusted it off, gave it some love and made it into Ace Hotel & Swim Club. Our 176-room hotel, spa and resort in Palm Springs, California is within biking distance of downtown and close to cool stuff like Joshua Tree, the Salton Sea, Salvation Mountain, all kinds of historic desert modern architecture and tons of great vintage shopping. It's also the best place in Palm Springs to get a laid-back massage or natural treatment at the Feel Good Spa, by the pool or in your room.
Two big pools, a vintage photobooth, award-winning room service, free WiFi and a gym round out the basics. Bring your boyfriend/girlfriend, bring your dog— we're family and pet-friendly. There is a big event space where you can get married, throw a party or have a big-deal meeting. Since the hotel is embedded in one of the best landscapes on Earth, we go to great ends to protect it.
The design is organic and bohemian. Some rooms have a garden patio and some have a fireplace. Some have record players and old vinyl you can play in your room and take home with you for a few bones. There are also communal fireplaces located throughout the hotel.
On weekends there's a DJ scene at the pool. Almost every night there's something going on at the Amigo Room bar — live music, DJs, bingo, crafting, karaoke and the occasional special event like our annual Craft Beer Fest. And it's open late, so join the party whenever. We also throw parties with live music and DJs during Coachella, Gay Pride, White Party and Dinah Shore. And that's not all— we host many events so we welcome you to stay with us and see what else we've got up our sleeve.

Every Monday night since time immemorial, a captivated crowd at Ace Hotel & Swim Club have followed the bouncing bingo balls on a fantastic ride — a flamboyant night of sass, song and showbiz razzle-dazzle. We call it Fabulous Bingo, in memory of the night's longtime host/our PSP patron saint, the legendary Linda "Fabulous" Gerard.
